So I just got back from Potomac Wholesale Florist where I presented a design show. I met wonderful growers from around the globe, including my new friend, Schlomo. He grows flowers in the wintertime, but when it’s too cold, he imports flowers from his homeland in Israel.
And they are pesticide free. So they are edible.
I had some for supper last night & this morning I made a lovely omelette for breakfast, complete with marigolds.
I think it’s hard to have a bad day when you sprinkle flowers on your breakfast. And they taste yummy too!
